But, the reality is, that finding the time to go to therapy can be a real challenge. I’ve been there and can completely relate! That’s why I specialize in providing online therapy for women in the state of Colorado.
I understand the challenges of finding a therapist in Colorado, especially if you live in smaller towns like Estes Park, Telluride, or Aspen. It might feel almost impossible to find a therapist who doesn't have an office halfway across town. Perhaps, you can’t find a counselor in Grand Junction or Fort Collins that you enjoy working with. Also, I know that military bases such as Fort Carson, Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, Peterson Air Force Bace, Schriever Air Force Base, or Pueblo Chemical Depot Army Base may not have mental health professionals who are experienced in working with women. My goals is to help you find relief from your stress and ways to manage the things that create anxiety in your life. To work toward this goal, I use a combination of therapies to support you on your journey towards emotional wellness.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT is a short-term therapy that aims to challenge and change negative thoughts that cause pain and teach positive coping techniques.
Mindfulness: the practice of being in the present moment through guided meditation and relaxation techniques.
Narrative Therapy: a method of therapy that helps you separate yourself from your problems. You will learn how to use the skills you already have to cope with your issues and re-frame your life story.
Trauma Therapy/ Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT): therapeutic techniques developed to help you cope with trauma.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)/Tapping: EFT involves tapping fingertips on meridian points to help relieve physical and emotional pain.
